I wake. I roll to face the wall and stare at it. Hoping I can dream, just a little bit longer. Escape the world I live in at night, while I dream. I could be on my island being chased by my best friend. Or safe on a spaceship, singing about DOOM. Either way it's the escape I need. The escape from society, and everyday chores. I used to regret lying down when I was younger. But now I hurry to bed. For the chance for a little change. I lay down my head. I escape.

Fall forward in flames. To be pulled back by doubt. Picture Perfect is a lie. So are you. It gets to the point when pain pulls you down. Alone, raging against the night. It smiles down on you. Daring you to fight. When your in charge who can save you? From responsibility. Surely I can't handle this all alone. Watch me try, watch me bleed. A double edged sword, sin and lie. Pick your poison, I'll drink it down. If it can end good, I'll take you down with me. Pick this fight and I'll bite you back. Theres an evil here between me and you. And as the darkness grows, I fade away.
